Are you on a tight budget this Christmas, and yet are suffering the pressure of purchasing gifts for family members and friends? If yes then Korean company BBT offers the latest PNIX-SD Mini MP3 Player for the tiny price of around $15. In four colors (black, white, yellow, and pink), this mp3 player has all the features of a standard mp3 player in its tiny, sleek body. The PNIX SD can be said to be a much cheaper (~$50 in total with a 16GB SDHC card) iPod shuffle. Moreover, it supports both WMA and MP3 audio files.

Personal Experience:
I ordered the mp3 player on eBay [<-- link to PNIX MP3 Players on eBay] about a week ago. I received it yesterday, which is surprisingly fast for shipping from Asia. I bought it for $15 with free shipping. I added my $35 16GB SDHC card to it, which is also bought from eBay [<-- link to 16GB SDHC Cards on eBay]. The first impression I got when I picked it up is, it is surprisingly well made (for a $15 gadget). It really feels solid in your hand. No doubt, the South Koreans make good stuff. Did I mention this gadget won awards in Australia and South Korea for its sleek, space-saving, and functional design? Well, rhetorical question. The controls are also very easy to get used to. It's minimalistic design consists of two buttons that are used for both volume and track changing. The gadget turns on as soon as you plug in the audio jack/pin. And turns off when you remove it. It retains your last played track. You can transfer the audio files using USB cable. It can also be used as a SD card reader, which is kinda obvious when you think about it. I am still waiting for an English translation of the South Korean user manual from the seller. I'll post it here as soon as I get it. That's all I can think of at the moment. Below are some Hi-Res pictures I took today. Click image to enlarge.

The eBay seller got back to me with a roughly translated version of the user manual. I haven't got time to revise it yet. But by now I know nearly everything about this mp3 player. Just let me know if you have any question.
