I've covered 3D Flash gallery CU3ER before, and I was quite impressed. Now, version 1.0 is out, and it looks even better than the previous one.
The CU3ER guys have done a lot of work on the developer side, and they have created an entire Windows application for the sole purpose of customizing CU3ER. You can watch a short screencast that demonstrates the app after the jump. Unfortunately, I was unable to test the application myself - it is only available for paid users. Users interested in CU3ER's free offering will have to content themselves with editing XML files for now. Perhaps CU3ER's developers will change their mind in the future? (The free version already prohibits commercial use and displays branding; to me, that seems like enough of an incentive to buy the Pro version.)
Other than the developer application, CU3ER 1.0 came up with a completely different visual style. The previous version's animations felt more 'bulky,' like you were working with a large, 3D cube (hence the name). V1.0 feels much less like a 'cube' and more like a slick LCD panel that parts into thin slices, with each rotating in turn. It's definitely slicker! Check their website for the demo.
