Mishra Reader is a free Google Reader client for Windows developed using WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation). As everyone knows that WPF is one of the best apps to use when it comes to UI designing and the same shows with this app as well. It shows smooth transitions when switching from one section to another.
The interface of Mishra Reader has been designed with Metro UI looks. Apart from that it can be minimized into the system tray and will display total number of unread feeds or alert you when a new feed becomes available to read. You do require to have .NET 4.0 framework installed to run Mishra Reader.
Lets look at how to download and install Mishra Reader:
- Firstly, for downloading click on the “download” link on the website and save the file to your computer.
- Then run the exe file. It will take a few seconds to check whether your system has the required .NET framework. Then click install.
- After installing, when you click on options you will be asked for your Google account details. Also you can select how many feeds per page would you like to have displayed. By default it will show 10 feeds per page.
- After login, you would be able to see all your subscriptions on the left hand side pane. When you click on the name of the subscription the feeds list will come up in the right hand side pane.
- Clicking on a feed from the list will open it in the right side window for you to read.

When you click on the Internet Explorer icon present between feed navigation buttons, it will open the source link in the default browser.
