Control wallpaper and task bars for multiple monitors

runs on Windows screenshot of DisplayFusion
If you're lucky enough to have a multi-display system, congratulations. You've now got more screen real estate than you know what to do with. Whether it's bigger images or more pages of code, you've opened up a whole new world of usability on your system. But of course, no good deed goes unpunished, so you also know that your life can get geometrically more complicated through the addition of this extra monitor. A tool like DisplayFusion can help you win control back of your system.
DisplayFusion lets you define individual wallpaper designs for each monitor, or you can use a single image and have it stretch across both (or more) of your displays. In addition, you can add a toolbar to each screen, allowing you to control your system from whichever display you're working on at any moment. You can also move application windows from one display to another, allowing you to make maximum use of your screens at all times.
DisplayFusion is a Windows application. You'll need Windows XP to use it, as well as version 2 or later of the .NET Framework.

  • And more!

Review:

Looking always at the same old desktop wallpaper can get boring very fast. WallPaper master fixes this problem with lots of options. with this program you can select up to 5000 pictures per category and automatically choose one of them as your wallpaper, you can do this by random order or by ratings which is handy in making your favorite wallpapers show up more frequently.
WallPaper Master has a lot of features but the most useful is the "auto resize wallpaper" that will shrink a picture to make it fit into the screen if its too big or tile it if it is too small. This program uses between 10 to 11MB of RAM in my system which is a little high for my taste.Unfortunately WallPaper Master only supports JPG and GIF files which is a pretty small selection. also it doesn't support vista which is a shame for some of you and the development has stopped in favor of the Pro version. still this is a good wallpaper changer with some neat features. Available for Windows 98/ME/2000/XP.

SocWall provides high quality wallpapers for free

SocWall is a pretty cool website that deals exclusively in wallpapers. You can browse for wallpapers with standards resolutions (1280x1024) , for widescreen monitors and even dual monitors. The site is pretty easy to use with categories from video games to city landscapes. One pretty nice feature of SocWall is the ability to hover your mouse over an image to see it's resolution and size, that will save you a little time if a wallpaper is just too big for your monitor.
In conclusion Socwall is a pretty good website to get cool wallpapers.
