Lets look at how this web application works:

  • Firstly provide the username and password of your Dropbox account to the DropTunes website.
  • The Dropbox folders are then loaded and displayed.
  • Open the folder containing your music files
  • The folder will appear on the left pane and the contained files appear on the right pane.
  • Songs can then be played by clicking on them.

DropTunes works by creating a new Dropbox folder for configuration files. Meaning if you have to play a music file you would need equal amount of space free in your dropbox account. For example, to play a song of size 3 MB your Dropbox must have at least 3 MB of free space in it.

DropTunes is a very user friendly application which does not require any download or installations. Also you do not need to register on the website again, you Dropbox ID will take care of it.

The best part you can listen to your favorite music anywhere you are through DropTunes. So enjoy.
