If you’re using Firefox your startup time can be different from other Firefox users because of the themes and extensions you’ve installed but how slow is too slow? About Startup is a Firefox extension that not only tells you how long it took for your browser to start but also lets you see start time benchmarks for the version you’re running.
The extension measures three things; time taken to restore a previous session, time taken to load the UI (firstPaint) and time taken to enter the main function. The extension highlights the average start up time for each and the time taken in the current instance. It keeps a record for all instances of start up, time is given in milliseconds (ms). To view the information type about:startup in the URL bar and hit enter.
